It has come to our attention that there are counterfeit Bank of Walterboro cashier’s checks that have been issued. These checks are accompanying a letter claiming that the recipient has won some type of lottery. The checks that we know of have all been in the amount of $3,775.00, but this amount could vary. Please contact us if you receive one of these counterfeit items.
